Kathmandu, Aug 28: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has urged the Government of Saudi Arabia to help in the release of Nepalis who are in the jails there even after the completion of jail term for being failed to pay the fines. During his meeting with the Saudi Arabian Ambassador on Sunday, he urged for this.
During the meeting held at Vice-President's office, Kantipath, on Sunday, Vice-President Pun expressed confidence that the long relations existing between the two countries was based on mutual harmony and trust, and it would grow further in the days ahead.
On the occasion, the Ambassador said the Saudi-Nepal relations were very old and harmonious, and it could be taken to a new height, according to Vice-President's Press Coordinator Manoj Gharti.
