A SpaceX rocket exploded at a launch site in Cape Canaveral on Thursday, destroying a satellite the company planned to launch into orbit on Saturday. An explosion has destroyed a rocket during test firing at Cape Canaveral in Florida. It sent black smoke billowing into the sky and shook buildings several kilometres away. No-one was injured, according to SpaceX, which owns the Falcon 9 rocket.
