Aug 26, 2016- Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae has reached Manang district for a five-day visit on Friday.
His team was received by local administration office, security officials and locals, parliamentarian Tek Bahadur Gurung said. The team includes Gurung, counselor at the embassy Ajaya Kumar and Rae's private security staff Pradeep Kumar.
Ambassador Rae will inspect reconstruction strategy of old monasteries on the assistance of India in the aftermath of last year's earthquake, Tourism Entrepreneur Committee's Manang Chair, Binod Gurung, said.
The visit is sought important as Naar and Phulgayat VDCs of Manang borders with China.
Indian Ambassador Rae will visit Tilicho Lake--a world's highest lake--if weather favours, a team member informed.
